Promoting lifelong health and wellbeing for Cooperative Extension constituents requires a focus on mental wellbeing. Extension plays an important role in ensuring fair and just access to optimal mental wellbeing, and in fact, will not be successful in other areas of work without prioritizing this focus. This session aims to: 1) introduce definitions, theory and a mental wellbeing approach that emphasizes prevention; 2) present tools and resources that support Extension professionals in content delivery, including a new mental flourishing toolkit; and 3) engage Extension professionals in discussion about collective and impactful ways to bring this content to families and communities.
